Q&A Series
Hello Beautiful People!

I have been in contact with several bloggers from all over the world for my Q&A series. The amount of bloggers who are willing to help me out with this little series on my little blog amazes me! My inbox is flooded with emails from bloggers responding to my request that they do a Q&A with me and I’m so grateful for how willing they are to take time to answer a few of my questions! The other day I got the chance to ask UK fashion & style blogger Sarah, also known as Temporary:Secretary a few questions about her blog and blogging. Sarah’s blog is amazing! If you’re into fashion and style, I guarantee you’ll LOVE it!

THE INTERVIEW

Can you introduce yourself, tell us where you’re based from and what the name of your blog is?
My name is Sarah and I’m from England, United Kingdom. My blog is called Temporary:Secretary and it is a fashion and style blog, with the occasional beauty review!

How would you describe your blog?
It is, primarily, a fashion and personal style blog but throughout the years, I’ve expanded on various other related subjects. I always try to give my blogpost a purpose, whether this is offering the readers a way to style a trend, or giving new life to a wardrobe staple, or recommending a beauty favourite.

What would you say your favourite thing about beauty and fashion is?
For beauty, I love how it can transform a look by using certain cosmetics. I love the work of a make up artist and their talent to create these amazing and dramatic looks. In fashion, my favourite time is Spring/Summer. During winter, I don’t care about fashion as much and I generally just grab the thickest sweater and the bigger coat!

How would you describe your style?
I think that most people would describe my style as girly! I always find it difficult to answer this question as I don’t intentionally dress a certain way to match a certain style.

Who would you say your biggest fashion influence is?
Fashion bloggers! I have stopped reading magazines and celebrity websites, I go to blogs for all things fashion and beauty! I trust bloggers more than magazines.

What is one thing that is unique to your blog?
My photography style (the beauty ones in particular) and the pastel colour theme. Sometimes, I wonder if I should just strip it from all the colours and go plain white but I’m not ready to give the pastels up yet!

Where are your favourite places to shop for beauty products?
Boots for affordable products and your every day essentials, like cotton buds and shampoo. For when I want to splurge on something high end, I love browsing at a Fenwick Department Stores.

What are your top 5 favourite stores to shop at?
Topshop, ASOS, Urban Outfitters, Boots and Debenhams

What does your everyday hair routine look like?
Most days, I just put it in a bun! I’m getting sick of my hair style, I need to get a hair cut but sometimes I like curling it with the Enrapture Totem Styler!

Do you have any advice for people wanting to start a blog?
Think of a unique name for your blog, and create a Twitter account and Facebook page for it so that you can communicate with other bloggers and get to know them. They are all willing to help so don’t be afraid to ask questions. Just enjoy your space on the Internet, write what you want and upload posts on a regular basis.

I’d like to thank Sarah again for taking the time to answer my questions! It’s so fun connecting with all these other bloggers rather than being in my own little blogging bubble. Check out Temporary:Secretary for more on fashion, style and a little but of beauty!
