Hello Beautiful People and Happy Makeup Monday!
Last Makeup Monday I shared with all of you, my favourite skin care products. Today, I thought I’d share with you my favourite hair care products! I’ve definitely tried out A LOT of different hair care products, and at this point, I’ve found what works best for my hair in order to keep it healthy and healthy looking as well.
Grapeseed Glossing Serum | The Body Shop
This product is an oil like substance which I put on the ends of my hair when I get out of the shower. Not only does it make your hair more shiny, but it really helps with split ends and makes the ends of your hair look and feel a lot healthier. The Body Shop is huge on sales and I’d recommend getting this product on sale if you can, just to try it out! At the moment, it’s 50% off, only $6! Definitely a steal that I’d recommend.
Roots Hair Treatment | Lush Cosmetics
I use this product about two times a week in the morning before I shower. It’s a cream that you apply to your roots while your hair is dry and you really work it in. I leave it on for about 30-40 minutes and then wash it off with shampoo in the shower. It’s really awesome because the product contains mint and so it soothes your hair and it’s extremely cooling (you almost feel a tingling sensation in your roots haha). This product is meant to help people with really fine, thin hair (like me), helping the hair to be healthy from the roots! Even if you don’t have really then hair, I’d recommend this treatment for overall healthier feeling hair.
Nourishing Oil Care | Dove
I’ve been using this product for quite some time now and I’d have to say it’s my absolute favourite hair care product. I buy it from the drug store and it lasts a really long time. I use this after I apply the glossing serum when I get out of the shower. It’s a cream and you work a dime size amount through your towel dried hair. It instantly adds moisture to your hair and you can really tell the difference once it’s dry! Sometimes I will also use a really small amount after I straighten my hair or blow dry my hair just to help with frizz. I recommend this product to anyone who suffers with dry/damaged feeling hair! (especially in the winter).
Original Dry Shampoo | Batiste
Not everyone has time to wash their hair everyday, and no one should wash their hair everyday. Dry shampoo is great to use on oily looking/feeling hair, second, third, fourth day hair. I’ve tried a couple of different dry shampoos and a couple of the other batiste ones and I find the original to be the best! It makes my hair look and (kind of) feel like I just washed it! Another great thing about it is that its cheap and doesn’t leave a white cast on your hair. They also have travel size bottles, which is helpful!
Total Repair Replenishing Detangling Care | Loreal
I don’t use this product every single day but I do if my hair seems to be more tangly when I get out of the shower. Instead of ripping all my hair out with the hair brush, I add a couple sprays to my hair and brush my hair out, it REALLY helps. One tip though, if you have hardwood floor, I’d recommend spraying this somewhere where it won’t hit the floor because it makes the floor REALLY slippery. This product is always a good price (around $5) and I buy it from the drug store!
Thermal Creations | TRESemme
I don’t use heat on my hair every single day, but when I do, I love to use this product before. It helps protect your hair from the heat and also as a bonus, makes your hair really shiny. I would recommend this to everyone who uses heat on their hair because you really shouldn’t even be using the heat without a protectant unless you want your hair to end up feeling really dead and unhealthy. This product lasts a long time, is super cheap and can be bought from practically every drug store!
I hope this post was helpful and gave you a few ideas about hair care products you could try out for yourself! Let me know what your favourite hair care products to use are! Have an amazing week everyone and see you tomorrow for my make up post from sunDIY!
