It’s been a while, I know. Although my camera is not with me at the moment, I do admit that that’s not much of an excuse (especially because I’m borrowing my dads other one right now). I’ve just been really lazy with blogging and feeling a little bit of a creative block. Anyways, although I’m still feeling this way, I thought I’d do a quick blog post on one of my favourite smoothies to make! This smoothie is quick and easy to make and will fill you up and energize you for your day. If you’re not vegan or vegetarian and you don’t need the extra protein boost, you can feel free to remove the hemp protein powder from the smoothie recipe! (well, you can do whatever you want with this smoothie recipe).
THE SMOOTHIE (Serves One)
A Handful of Baby Spinach
A Handful of Kale
Handful of Frozen Blueberries or Blackberries
A quarter of a Frozen Banana
One Generous Spoonful of Hemp Protein Powder
One Spoonful of Chia Seeds
Tbsp of Coconut Oil
A cup of Almond/Rice/Soy Milk
A cup of Cold Water
If you want an extra creamy texture, add a quarter of an Avocado
If you want your smoothie to be sweeter, add a couple of Medjool Dates!
For some extra fibre and even more of an energy boost, add Muma Health’s Raw Core Love!
If you want your smoothie to be extra cold, add some ice!
You may need more milk or water depending on how well it blends!
